MENU FOR THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 11, 2013
At long last we seem to be pretty much over this version of the flu. Ergo, we were less than pleased when they announced a blizzard, due last evening with expected power losses. Oh goody!
We got a bad storm and about a foot of snow, but so far, the power has held. Feeling as weak and as vulnerable as I do, the idea of having to freeze for several days was not something I happily anticipated.
We, as everyone else, stocked up. Milk, eggs, bread, coffee, cat food, Scotch…. They apparently have been plowing out streets, so I am guessing we should be ok by the first of the week. In the meantime, we don’t have to go out for anything. And the cat is quite happy about that.
