MENU
FOR THE WEEK OF NOVEMBER 26, 2012
We
survived Thanksgiving and lived to tell the tale. It’s a great holiday, but a lot of work all
of which makes me wish I was an energetic kid of 50 once
again….
Then
there is the cleanup. Sheets and towels
for 13. Easily a dozen loads of
laundry. And surely Warner must have
done at least 600 loads in the dishwasher.
But it is worth it to get everyone together and catch up on their lives.
The
problem this year was that Peter, aged 11, came down with a bug Friday night. He clearly was an uncomfortable –
although good natured – kid. Problem was he has been taught to share. And share he did. So now both Warner and I are down with a
slight touch of the Black Plague (so much for flu shots) and are really
miserable. To this end, although I put
together this menu earlier in the week, Warner’s shots will show some changes.
I am really not hungry and for the most part don’t want anything more complex
than chicken noodle soup.
