FOR THE WEEK OF NOVEMBER 2 8, 2011
We are now into
the sweet land of leftovers following our festive Thanksgiving. The troops left
Sat. afternoon and it has taken me a couple of days to recover. Funny that one can’t do things the way one
did at 40…..So I’m grateful that I’ve got food to fall back on. For if the
truth be known, I’m not up for cooking quite yet.
Also back at the
gym. Didn’t have time to go last week,
and frankly wasn’t worried about getting exercise. This Thanksgiving, as usual, I lost
weight…..Unfortunately; I will regain that as I return to normal operating
procedures. I’ve talked to other serious cooks who go through the same
process. It’s a function of fatigue,
stress and the fact that when one tastes foods for several days one comes up no
so hungry.
