MENU FOR THE WEEK OF
DECEMBER 19, 2011
Just
back from the gym. Am amazed at the thoughtlessness of some people.
Sunday I watched a guy twice set up a piece of
equipment for himself. Claim his “spot” by leaving his towel and his clip
board, and then go off to hold lengthy chats with people in other areas while other
people waited for that piece of equipment.
Today I watched a guy set up his machine, climb on…and then proceed to
spend a fair piece of time texting as, again, people waited for that piece of
equipment. Or perhaps it’s just my Bah
Humbug frame of mind.
For
reasons I don’t know, am having a hard time getting the ho ho ho mojo this
year. I’m guessing I’m not the only one
as the cards are coming in very slowly…I only got mine out at the end of last
week. Still don’t have a tree, although
I do have wreathes on the door and poinsettias blooming. As you can see, I have planned the menus for
this weekend, but still have some food shopping to do. And I do need to pick up
something for the cat. She’d be terribly
offended if she were not included in the festivities. Cats are like that….
