This
week has gone from brutally hot and sticky to cold and damp. That’s on the grumpy side. On the happy side
our does are emerging from the deep woods with beautiful young fawns. Sure
footed at birth, but still looking so frail and young.
And
this morning a group of baby turkeys (there had to be close to a dozen of them)
wandered around – picking and this and that and the other thing. Close behind were two full grown hens looking
for all the world like British nannies…
