MENU
FOR THE WEEK OF MAY 6, 2013
It
would appear that we have gone from The Endless Winter to the Eternal Monsoon Season. On the other hand, everything has that bright
new green look. And when it does stop
raining, the ground is so saturated it
makes the Spring weeding a hell of a lot
easier.
Warner
has finished putting the water stain on the deck and we have
pretty much arranged the pots.
Last frost date is this Weds., so I’ll start collecting seedlings in
the next few days. Main crop tomatoes,
grape tomatoes, Italian parsley (lots), basil.
I have my rosemary, sage and mint.
Am looking for a decent sized thyme.
Pricing
stuff this week I found geraniums
locally costing $4-$5 a pop. Ouch. I
did, however, find that Home Depot has smaller plants for $1.95. Guess where I am going
for those…
