MENU
FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 15, 2013
Yesterday
I went out and bought a flat of lettuce seedlings and a flat of large pansies –
that glorious bright spring yellow. Today it is too damned cold and damp to go
out and plant them. I wish spring would
just settle in and let us be rewarded for that awful winter.
I
noted that I wrote about the flowering shrubs and fruit trees in the last blog
of March. This year we are just approaching that status. And of course, this
time last year we were in Tampa which makes a difference as well.
I think that when I win a big Lotto
payoff I will arrange to be somewhere
else from early January until the end of
April. One could almost finance this by
the savings on ones Con Ed bill….
