My
arm continues to be a problem, although it is a hell of a lot better than last
week. Warner continues to do the
cooking. Ergo, I’m looking for simple
foods – especially dishes we can “dump” in the slow cooker and let them do
their thing.
Sunday
is St. Patrick’s Day, but we did the corned beef and cabbage bit (New England Boiled Dinner) this week. So
Warner is going to do his wonderful Irish Stew which is always a most satisfying
hearty treat. The first time he made it
for me was before we were married. At the time I was a rather thin being –
weighing in at less than 110. Generally
I had a small appetite – but I dug into this wonderful dish and had four
helpings. Must have been the Irish
ancestry calling out.
