MENU FOR THE WEEK OF AUGUST 20, 2012

We both went to our dentist in the city last week.  Hell of a nice guy, but I hate dentists….Phobic about the whole thing.  Add to which I found I need about $4,000 worth of work in the next year or so. Money that could so easily be spent on more pleasurable things…Doesn’t seem fair.

On the plus side, however.  When we go to see him, we park on 33rd  Street.  So it is real easy to wander down from 40th street to 28t h Street and have a pleasant bistro lunch at Les Halles. Not quite as good as the real thing, but a good substitute….
