can’t believe we are at Labor Day weekend so soon. This summer has just flown by. But as with every season, I am starting to
look forward to the food of the next.
Still too warm for braises and stews, but I am starting to think about
them.
We
treated ourselves to lunch today at the Hudson Water Club in Haverstraw. We ate out on the deck overlooking the Hudson
and watched the pleasure craft on the water.
It was a perfect day for this. There is something so therapeutic about
being near or on the water.
Lobster
is yet again on sale at our local Shop Rite.
Wonderful! $5 per pound makes it quite affordable. And what better way to celebrate the end of a
season. Or the start of the new.
